One of my favorite things to do while walking on a beach is to find sea glass. Finding the beauty, brings such joy and glee to my life. I was visiting my friends' new home in Naragansett Rhode Island, It was freezing but we decided to walk down to the beach, there was a light covering of snow on the ground. While walking towards a stone structure that had been destroyed by a storm, I looked down and found a great piece of sea glass. It was frozen into the sand, but I used a rock and set it free.

While in St Maarten, my first thought was to walk the beach and find a lucky piece of sea glass. I can't tell you how thrilled I was with my find. Here are some of the beauty's that I found on the first day.
I went to the beach each day in search of sea glass as if it was my job. The biggest bonus, besides these tumbled gem was that the fun of the search reversed my mental and emotional age. I became a young girl playing in the water all day long. On the last day, I tried the Jacques cousteau version of finding sea glass and drank my share of salt water. There is a skill/coordination of breathing in and out of the snorkel that had me gaspsing for air.
Here is a sampling of the bounty that was found:

and here are the waves that brought in and processed these glass pieces.
